MILAN • PALMELLATO LEATHER

The first of our two Italian tanneries is located in Milan and has been specializing in the creation of textured leathers since 1898, Gold rated by the Leather Working Group. The flagship products of the company are embossed leathers such as the famous Palmellato texture. Due to the special wax treatment of this leather, the products achieve a great level of durability and stain resistance.

With its attention to production processes and awareness of trends in the fashion world, the tannery embodies the “Made in Italy” philosophy.

FLORENCE • CROC-EFFECT LEATHER

Our second tannery is located near Florence, in among the most renown area for its leather manufacturers in Italy, Santa Croce sull’Arno, Silver rated by the Leather Working Group. Since 1967 the company has been specializing in the creation and development of exotic textured leathers, such us our coveted croc-embossed leather. Due to the special wax treatment of this tactile croc-effect gorgeous leather, the bag achieves a great level of durability and a luxurious touch.

The tannery does not only focus on the product but also on the production, in an attempt to ease its environmental impact by boosting numerous technological advances in their tanning processes.

TUSCANY NAPPA LEATHER

Each pair of Maestoso shoes is handcrafted in Italy in Le Marche region, using age-old techniques that have been handed down through generations of highly skilled artisan shoemakers.

We sourced the finest quality Italian nappa leather to develop our shoes collection, at one of the most prestigious tannery located in Tuscany, Silver rated by the Leather Working Group.

ZACATECAS VEGAN CACTUS LEATHER

Each style within the Eco-Vegan Collection is responsibly handcrafted from the leaves of a particular type of cactus, the Nopal, a highly sustainable and environmentally friendly, biodegradable organic material.

The innovative plant-based material is produced from native cactus that grows in an organic farming system in Zacatecas region of Mexico and it matches local biodiversity and requires no herbicides, pesticides, or even irrigation. Colored using organic pigments, the vegan cactus leather bags are available in a sleek, soft and luxurious texture of black and oyster.

Our eco-vegan sustainable leather is produced from mature leaves of the cactus plant, which are harvested around 6-8 months. No irrigation systems are used as the cacti grow healthy with rain water and earth minerals found in the area.

Not only is it vegan, but it’s also healthy for human wear and truly environmentally sustainable.

Maestoso’s collection of pure silk scarves is a testament to the art of Italian craftsmanship, entirely handcrafted by one of Italy's most prestigious textile companies. With a rich legacy that traces back to 1945 in Como, a renowned district celebrated for its premium fabrics, our partner stands at the forefront of fabric printing, recognized globally for their unparalleled quality.

Crafted from organic silk, each scarf embodies the pinnacle of sustainable luxury. This organic silk is cultivated without any chemical treatments, including insecticides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers. In their commitment to ethical practices, the silkworms are nurtured in a natural environment, allowing them to complete their life cycle peacefully and without harm.

We take immense pride in the fact that our scarves are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS), the most rigorous benchmark for sustainable production in the textile industry. This certification assures that every Maestoso scarf is ethically sourced, processed, and manufactured with the utmost respect for the environment, from the silk farms to your wardrobe.

Our jewelry manufacturer, based in Hong Kong, stands as a beacon of sustainability and ethical craftsmanship in the global market. We have forged an exclusive partnership with a supplier whose dedication to environmental stewardship and ethical practices sets them apart in the jewelry industry.

Our collection exclusively features recycled metals, including premium silver and 18-karat gold, reflecting our unwavering commitment to reducing our ecological footprint and fostering a circular economy.

They are members of the Responsible Jewelry Council and they they distinguish themselves as one of the select few in the jewelry industry to have completed the Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit (SMETA), the most widely recognized social audit globally.
